President & Chief Executive Officer, Director

Benjamin is an experienced Managing Director of public companies, with frontline experience in the capital markets having operated as a corporate advisor and public company director in Australia for more than 20 years.  He has raised more than $200m for public companies and in his present and past roles been responsible for the financing, administration, marketing and management of public companies. 

Benjamin’s experience includes nickel, iron ore, copper and vanadium exploration management, resource development and prefeasibility mine study operations as well as financing and pioneering biomedical and device research, approval process and commercialisation funding. Ben’s current focus is bringing The Company’s Alexo-Dundonald Nickel Sulphide Mine back into production in the current pro-nickel environment.

David Fitch


David is currently Executive Director of QEM Limited (ASX:QEM), an Australian Vanadium Company listed on the ASX. David was also the Chief Operating Officer and joint major shareholder of the Fitch Group.

David has extensive experience in strategic planning, commercial negotiations and business operations and asset management with a particular focus on greenfield development sites for the commercial and retail sectors, residential development and is also actively involved as director of BioCentral Laboratories Ltd, a company producing advanced products for the firefighting industry as well as dust suppressants for mining and road construction.

Mathew Gilbertson

Non-Executive Director

Mathew is a Founding Director with more than 25 years’ management experience within mining and technology sectors for government, public and private sectors. He has extensive knowledge and connection to high technology implementation and integration across Australian and US government programs as well as Fortune 500 companies.   

​Matthew is an in-demand global board and executive management level turnkey consultant, specialising in operational efficiency and economic optimisation. 


Chief Financial Officer

Aamer is a Manager of Financial Reporting as MSSI. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant who began his career working in public accounting with one of Ontario’s largest external audit firms.

​Aamer has many years of experience providing financial advisory, budgeting, Canadian tax and assurance services to a wide range of clients. He has extensive experience helping fast growing companies manage their reporting requirements as well as providing valuable insight to aid in management’s strategic decisions.




Dean has over 30 years of exploration experience, 20 of these years were with Falconbridge Limited (Glencore PLC), where he was involved with significant nickel, copper and zinc discoveries in the Sudbury and Timmins mining camps. He has coordinated numerous base and precious metals exploration programs at several of the world’s major operating nickel copper zinc and PGM mining camps, including the Sudbury, Thompson and Abitibi Nickel Camps, the Kidd Creek Base Metal Camp in Canada and, the Bushveld Platinum Group Metals Camp in South Africa.  

Dean managed Falconbridge’s Southeastern Africa nickel and PGM exploration efforts prior to leaving the company and managing various junior mining/exploration companies. Projects included Kenbridge Nickel Mine (Canadian Arrow Mines Limited), Stormyra and Ertelien Nickel deposits in Norway (Blackstone Ventures), Jureuna Gold Belt in Brazil (Lago Dorado) and most recently the Golden Culvert Gold project in the Yukon (Stratabound Minerals). Dean has brought private companies through to IPO and has acted as CEO/President of reporting public companies.



Danielle is a Canada-based geologist with over 30 years of extensive exploration experience focused on nickel, copper and PGE sulphides.  Her work with Falconbridge, Xstrata Nickel Castillian Resources and as a director of Newgenco Pty Ltd covered brownfield, greenfield and continental scale project generation projects in North America, South America, West Africa, northern Europe and Australia.

Danielle has managed teams and projects in various areas of the world and is well acquainted with the more practical aspects of conducting exploration for magmatic sulphides.  She has also worked in exploring for a wide variety of commodities including Au, REE, and Cu, Cu-Zn including more recent work for Newmont Goldcorp at the Eleonore Au deposit as acting exploration manager. She holds a PhD on the metallogeny of the Kenty Lake Ni-Cu-PGE deposit located in the Cape Smith belt. She is currently president of the OGQ (Quebec professional association of geologists).
